Good SYE for 242
Just wondering what you guys with the 242 are running for a SYE. There ain't much aftermarket support with this and its frusterating. I was going to swap in a 231 but sold the jeep it was in to fast.

It's also milled down so theres no flange "hangover"... that little gap you get with the HnT. And if you have a newer style tcase you get a yoke instead of a flange.. I plan on either swapping for a 231 (prob not) or doing a HnT with a custom yoke. me no like flanges.

There is no advantage to the yoke that I see. If you see one please elaborate. The flange can not be installed wrong. I have had it on and off several times without any problems and you can't install it out of phase.

the advantage is that if you break a shaft (or u joint.. or anything shaft realted), you can throw a spare junkyard xj front shaft on the rear without using that funky adapter. or you can use your front shaft in the back. every time ive wheeled with someone who has had a flange on their jeep, it has broke.
