Good Deal on Gears??
I have a 1998 xj limited with (i think) 3.55 gears. I am running 32"s and it is no fun to drive I am looking at oputting 4.11's in it. Are these a good price:

I would need the carrier for the front so + another $70. then of course pay someone to put them in. Does anybody know of a place near asheville NC that can do this?

most shops will charge up to 500 labour for each axle. so factor that with the cost of parts.
but i know a couple fellow builders/wheelers here that will do if for as low as 100 bux each if the axles are out already or free if you're his friend. beers optional, of course....

i would still do the 456 it will help your mpg and make it easier to get to speed on the freeway. the 410 will not be that much of a difference with the 32's

well it sounds like the 4.56 is a better option then. I went by this chart:

that chart is fairly accurate
I don't know if the mileage part is right
and the closest to stoke part is part right you will be back to stock RPMs
but not stock power
its a mechanical thing that is hard to explain

Go to Complete Offroad they have the best price. Also Jeepin Outfitters. Both of those have the lowest prices on Yukon Gears that I have found.
Yukon is the only way to regear!
