what are the numbers? Cause a set of those numbers should tell you the gear ratio..

most likely 3:55s if you're an auto, or 3:07s if you're a manual, but just to be sure, post up what you found. Within the series of numbers should be a pairing like I mentioned above.

Is it the top set of numbers or the bottom set of numbers.

It should, but I make no promises.

Towing packages, etc can offer strange gearing combinations, so you should definitely check to make sure. Post up the numbers you found on the rear, and is there a tag on the D30 as well?

Post up the numbers as they look on the tag. Probably 3.55 but you could order 4.10s special but rare.

Are you sure the tag didn't say 355 instead of 35, because they usually don't have tags identifying the model of axle that they are.

Ok. Blue can you check back later. I have to go home to look at the numbers on the other axle to see what ratio that is. Thanks

Good new. The front axle is also a 3.55. I had the vin from the donor jeep and call the dealer and they said it was a 3.55.

Excellent. You have everything now to do the conversion. Just need to get wrenchin'.
