I have an electrical problem with my gauges and laps on the dashboard.
The only thing that is working is the speedometer and the turbo pressure, and these are not electrical. The working light on the dashboard is the indicator (but these show left and right at the same time) and the beam light. Has anyone had this problem before?
It maybe should be noted, it is a 1990, 2.1 turbo diesel, manual.

Haha, that is normal, on the pre '91 the green arrows flash together, and there is no low beam lamp at all.

So I have working gauges now. Turns out it was a corroded cable under the floor matt leading to the passenger seat control.
Maybe I was lucky, but I ripped you the floor matt to do some rust on it. And that’s when I found the cable. I had to replace it all the way back to the fuse box. At first I thought I had fixed the seat control, but then I started the car, and the dashboard lid up like a x-mas tree and the gauges worked along with the seat. That’s cool!
