I'm trying to figure why all of the sudden my odometer says no bus and I have no guages

I thought that was a PSA reminding you to not use the XJ as a bus??

CCKen is right, we need to know what year to make a real suggestion but..
that looks like my 97. If it IS a 97 then you'll probably need to remove the instrument binnacle and clean up the connectors between the harness and the instruments. They get crusty, especially if you have a lot of water/condensation on the inside of the windscreen which is a common thing over here in God's County of North Yorkshire
