Blown Elec2 fuse
I am a novice with a 2.5L 4 cyclinder Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport 96/97.
The little yellow 'Eng Ctrl2' 20 amp fuse (just opposite the Fuel Pump fuse) keeps blowing soon after start up. This stops the engine. I looked at the fuel pump connections but they look OK. Can any kind soul tell me what I should do now please?

A few questions that may help others help you...
Is this a 1996 or a 1997 XJ?
Where is this fuse located, in the engine compartment fuse center or inside the Jeep?
How do you know it's 'Eng Ctrl2'? Is this written somewhere?
Without knowing for sure, I would guess that fuse is for the Engine Control Module, aka Powertrain Control Module.

Blown Elec2 fuse
Thank you CCKen,
It is a 1996 XJ Cherokee model
The fuse is located in the engine compartment
'Eng Ctrl2' is written on the fuse box cover and 20 amp is written on the fuse.
I hope this might help.
