Fuel Pump??

I have a 89 Jeep Cherokee Wagoneer with a 4.0 auto. my question is my fuel pump is good but there's no power going to it, i swapped the wire harness from a different jeep to mine...the one that connects to the fuel pump but no dice. I need some help guys, its been dependable...all 262K miles!

You can try back probing the harness with a multimeter. Are the fuses and relays good?

As Mykal suggests you should check the relay for the fuel pump first. It is located on the passenger side on the inner wheelwell, in a bank of 3-5 relays. If that checks out good then try to short across the ballast resistor on the opposite side of the engine bay (it is the white ceramic block) and see if you get the fuel pump some power now. If not then start looking for a bad connector in your new harness or a broken wire in that same harness. HTH
