front driveshaft
i sound stupid asking this question but is a drive shaft from a 96 and older cherokee the same as a 97 and above, lenght wise, without the beer can thing???

are you absolutly positive about that? you know the older cherokees had front driveshafts that looked like beer cans

from 84-86 Jeep used this "beer can" "stick in a can" style front driveshaft... if you ask me it is "$!@# in a can"
The top one is from the previous owners not keeping grease in it, had 300,000 miles on it
lower one is what it is supposed to look like
