Fog light fuse issue
Okay
so today I notice that my stock fog lights weren't working on my xj. So my first train of thought so I went under the hood and found a fuse blown so I replaced went to turn the fog lights on and still nothing.... Went under the hood again that same fuse was blown. Any time I would try to use the fog light that fuse would blow instantly. I checked the wires and nothing they look fine to me. I'm at a stand still at the moment and have no clue what to do

Something is grounded. You need to isolate components and check each for grounding. Each light has a pigtail about a foot long, unplug one light at a time and try to turn the one left on. If you get to the point that both lights are unplugged and the fuse still blows you still have the fuse, solenoid and switch to check. Good luck.

As i think that will be the solution for your problem so please follow it ...
Disconnect the new fog light wiring, and see if it stops blowing fuses.
If so, then you wired the fog lights wrong.
Diagrams can't help you, because they would not show the fog light wiring you added, and it appears there was no problem until then.
We would need to see a diagram of how the fog lights were supposed to be wired, and what you did instead.
If the fuses still blow even with the fog lights disconnected, than it was just a coincidence.
So then what you do is replace the fuse with a test light or flasher relay.
That will add enough resistance to prevent wires from melting, but will indicate when there is a short or not. When there is a short, light will be bright and flasher quick. When you disconnect the short, the light or flasher will dim or slow. Disconnect things until you narrow it down.
