FNG interior question
96 cherk 2 door
Question #1
the folding rear seat is in pretty rough shape and it is never used. I'm thinking of ditching the whole thing and replacing the seats with a flat plate with a 4 or 5 inch lip on the front edge, hinged at the back to create a secure storage space under it. Has any one else done this? suggestions?
or should this be in the "modified section: (which seems all technical/mechanical)
Question #2 is there any up-grade replacement for the too-small outside rear mirrors?

Regarding the mirrors, 1997+ mirrors are a direct bolt-on, are larger, lighter, and they fold in.

thank you for the lead, Since I don't have power mirrors, can they be operated with the existing interior manual lever or is it a strictly outside manual operation?

I would think there are manual mirrors for 97+, but am not positive. Manually adjusting the power mirror regularly would likely strip the gears
