few Problems... AGHHH
All of the problems adding up are starting to tick me off....
Problem 1.- The Steering Wheel lock on the the consol wont unlcok or let me turn key forward... I have to man handle the heck out of it to turn.
Problem 2.- I can only get the windows to go down from the driverside control panle, none of the others work. No the lock switch is not on.. I checked that one
Problem 3.- The guy who owned it before me had a CB radio so he removed the origional Antenna and wired the Radio to the CB. Well Now it has no CB and No antenna so I only get one Radio Station The wires are all gone along with the antenna mount on the fender. Is there a way to wire up a genaric antenna to a wire and mont it on the roof?
Any Advice on any of these things would be great.... Thank you all in advance!

take off the door panel and check the wires.. if this happens on both sides that seems weird maybe both sides have the same power source or ground and something is wrong with the wiring.. idk id check the wires

the wiring in the doors is crappy on the jeeps you might have to do some wire repair work in the door. as for an antenna you can get a window antenna from radio shack for pretty cheap you will need to special order it so it might take a few days but it goes around the drivers window on the inside. if not that then just go to a radio shop for a universal fender mount antenna it will have enough wire to get it to the back of the radio with room to spare.

take the steering wheel off and all the hardware. there should be a plate in there that has a small rod, no more than 2" long going though it. that's the lock. pull it out and it's not gonna lock anymore

here are 2 pics.. this is not the steering wheel for a cherokee but it will be similar
ignore the red circles you need to look at the bigest red circle right above it is the locking pin you need to pull that out
here is a pic with the plate out.. now you just pull the pin out and put everything back together .. again ignore the red circles

you need new switches for your windows they are multi function switches
all the power runs threw the switches on the driver door if its bad the rest wont work even if the drive door switch works

.Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove horn/trim cover retaining screws from back of steering wheel. Remove steering wheel. Disconnect horn wiring. On models with round horn button, pull button upward and remove horn components.
2.Remove steering wheel retaining nut and vibration dampener. Scribe or paint reassembly reference mark on steering shaft and steering wheel. Use proper steering wheel puller to avoid damaging shaft or threads.
3.Remove lock plate plastic cover. Compress lock plate with Lock Plate Compressor (J-23653) for standard threads, or (J-23653-4) for metric threads. Pry retaining snap ring from steering shaft groove and slide snap ring toward compressor. See Fig. 1 .
4.Unscrew and remove Compressor. Remove snap ring, lock plate, canceling cam and spring from steering shaft.
WARNING:
Lock plate is held by high pressure spring. DO NOT remove snap ring without using a compressor tool.
5.Remove hazard warning switch **** from side of column by pushing inward on **** and turning counterclockwise.
6.Remove turn signal switch retaining screw. Remove turn signal/wiper switch rod.
7.Disconnect wire harness connector on bracket at lower end of steering column. Remove 3 turn signal switch retaining screws. Pull switch outward toward end of shaft. Ensure NOT to dislodge dimmer switch rod.
8.Insert paper clip below retainer so that retainer is flattened. Using needle nose pliers, remove key warning buzzer switch and contacts as an assembly. See Fig. 2 . Remove lock cylinder retaining screw. 9.Insert ignition key into lock cylinder and turn to ON position. Pull out lock cylinder.
