Do I need a better Battery and alternator???????
Last weekend I installed two pairs of hella's on my roof rack and already had two lights on my front bumper. so i have a total of 6 lights and nothing is hooked up to relays and i have 3 switches. i run inline fuses instead. I am wondering if i will need a better alternator or a better battery or both?? I have been looking into the optima red tops and the mean green alt.
Will i be fine with stock stuff or will i need to upgrade??
thanks everyone!!!!

well try out the battery you have...and maybe look into the dual battery set-ups, so you can run two batterys...
there is a write up on this site under the "how to" section...
or there might be better ones if you just google search it...

HD altenator and a Red top should be fine for those if they have 55watt bulbs.
I would also suggest a relay for each pair of lights so you don't overload the switches. All that hot leads running to those switches could get warm and you don't want any electrical fires.
