so ive got an 87 xj it did have the towing package at some point but was removed cuz it was rusted out, is there any easy way to tell what rear axle i have?

I think this should be stickied since it's a very common question here. I don't have a problem answering the question but would be nice to have a thread dedicated to axles and maybe upgrades available for them.
