Default disc brake conversion in a 8.25

i did a quick search and couldnt quite find what i was looking for so i figured id start a thread ,

i have a non abs 97 xj with the 8.25 in it , i know theres excisiting axels in junk yards that i can pull disc brakes off of , im getting sick of swaping out drum pads , too much mud and sand get in there and just to hard to keep clean , so i wanna convert , what should i look for and what extra parts might i need and how difficult is it to swap onto my rear ?

Here is a good write-up..

This is on my list of things to do in the future, so if anyone can add some tips or ideas I would appreciate it.

wow that actually seems quite simple , the hardest part looks like setting up the parking brake wich mine dont work anyway so im not even concerned about hooking one back up lol
