Dash panel electrical issues
My '98 XJ's dash panel exhibits a variety of odd behaviors, such as:
Some or all gauges not operating (fuel, oil, temp).
ABS light on/off.
Airbag light on/off.
Check engine light on/off.
Speedometer not operating.
In addition to the above, occasionally the stereo and headlights (but not parking lights) cut out.
Is there any common areas in the wiring harness to begin examining or anything like that?
Thanks for any input.

I've had the panel in and out three times, looking for bad connections and fried ICs on the panel itself. No problems that I could see. Wondering if there is a problematic connector along the harness somewhere or anything else like that.

I might be out in left field here, but have u checked the bottom of the fuse box in the engine bay? For salt or corrosion?
I also had the harness in the bay along the firewall go bad. It had worn wires in it. Have someone sit in the Jeep. Run it. Wiggle wiring get harnesses in the bay or under the dash to see if you can get changes.
