Dash Bezel-Was this one aftermarket?
Pulled this out of an XJ. But not Country or Wagoneer. This has no silver trim on it. Just simulated wood grain. Was this offered on some model in particular, or was this an aftermarket item? I am thinking it was added at some time the XJ I pulled it out of. It's in great shape and I kind of like it.
(BTW, the lights came from a Waggie in the same JY. And yes, I did score the header panel, grill, and lights.)

I've got one like that I pulled about 6 years ago. I think I got it out of a Cherokee "Country" which was a trim level above the Laredo in the late 80's-early 90's.
I think there was woodgrain trim on the upper interior door panels, too.
Check yours to see if there is a Chrysler part number on the back.

Must have been from a Country and added to the donor I pulled it from. It was definitely not a Country. I like the Country door trim, but since I have a two door I am out of luck on that upgrade.

Think it was option on the early (~1988) xj wagoneer. Might have been available on the At least I've seen two with it and a few without. So yeah it was probably swapped in. Sometimes dealers will order in better interior parts for a customer and swap them in. Almost bought a new near base model RAM with a leather steering wheel a while ago.

Wood grain dash was a higher trim option and yes the upper door panels did also have the wood grain (had them in my 93)
Some people will actually pay a fair amount for those. Especially if you have the whole entire set.
