Default Crossthreaded stud

On the front of my 98 somehow a stud/lug got cross threaded. Should I just go to the jy and studs and lugs from there or order them? Also, should I only replace the one or all of them at once?
Thanks

Order one from parts store. It will be new obviously and no rust. They are pretty cheap from what I remember. Most junkyards take the tires off which exposes the threads of the studs to lots of rust.

Front or rear? Front is a pain in the ****, if your hubs are >5 years old you might want to just toss new ones in.

If it's the rear just order new studs. They're pressed in, how easy do you think it is to remove them without damage? Not to mention used studs are already rusted and stretched.

Trying to get a used stud out ruins it.

Just get new ones from O'Reilly or NAPA. Not Autozone, they are inferior. Like most of the stuff they sell.

They should. But if I remember, you have to remove the front hub to get to the studs......RR

quick tap with a hammer will knock the stud right in without effecting your hub. to put a new one in, get a few washers, use an old lug nut and use a torque gun to suck the new stud into the hub. i did that to all my front studs about 8 months ago and have not had a problem yet with it.
