Crate motors
I just got my jeep and it is pretty beat up. I just posted recently about adding a lift kit and bigger tires and got an awesome amount of reply so I will take a stab at the feild on this issue.
My motor is pretty beaten up. The oil pan is leaking and it is knocking. I sont know enough about cars to conduct the rebuild myself and the shop bills would be so high that it would just be more financially smart to just get a new crate motor. Does anyone know anything about this topic? I have a 4.0L in it now. WHen you swap out your engine, does it just swap directly out? Is there anyway to get more power out of it when I do this?
Thanks guys
