Crate engines?

Engine: 4.0 L 6 Cylinder
Yeah i posted that too soon, I just want to learn more about crate engines and superchargers and what would be best to purchase if not both and how much i should expect to pay

I have never priced a crate motor,always rebuild mine. But the price that blkxj just posted is about right for a new motor.
For that you could build a stroker and put alot more in your jeep and have a better engine.

You won't find a crate motor for these XJ's all you will find at this point are remanufactured ones. I bought a coomplete reman for my 91 for under $1000.
