Default Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS)

anyone out there know how to test the Crankshaft Position Sensor on a 4.0 HO motor.(not renix). i got three pins on the plug to the sensor. which pins should i test with the multi meter and how many OHM's should it be.

Pretty sure you are looking for 0 ohms resistance between the A and C posts, which should be the two outside ones.

But Rich is right, go to the technical write-up section under XJ write-ups, and there is one in there on how to test the CPS.
