Default Crank Position Sensor Question
I got under the car tonight to replace the sensor(resistance is bad when tested). When I got under I found that the rubber flap surrounding the CPS seems to be bowed or bent, basically not flush with the metal. Should I be concerned about this before I change the sensor? Seems to me water could get inside....Picture attached.

I wouldn't sweat it. I chucked the plastic deal on mine as advised with no issues.
