have a cracked header on a 95 cherokee where all the pips meet wodering if i could weld it

works great actually. I used a mig w/o gas on my buds several years ago, held for at least 5 years and counting. Same location as yours also.

My ZJ did that and i got a SS header off ebay with the coil looking things on both ends thats suppose to expand and contract with the heat so it doesnt happen again... got it for like $75... installing sucks though... lol

i suggest the one i just told ya about... cheap... worked great... SS... way better flow then the stock one...

its aight... make sure it comes with the flange where you can bolt your stock pipe back up to it... that its not all different... mine came with the other end to weld to the pipe and all the gaskets...

I think if everyone looked at their stock exhaust manifold, probably about 90% would have those cracks. I have the exact same cracks.

I have a stock exhaust manifold off a 91 that has no cracks what so ever sitting in the garage collecting dust.

lol... doesnt count if you take it off in 92... lol... mine had it too... thats why i went with the header with the spring looking thing on both ends for expanding and stuff... they were real bad about it...

I just dont think I'd ever upgrade with an exhaust manifold unless I already pulled the intake/head and ported and polished it, upgraded the intake, and installed a cam.
I just don't think its worth the cost or labor unless you go all in....

WELD IT, you'll wish you did when you sell it or wreck it.
