Clutch Disengagement Questions
So after some observation and experimentation, I believe that sometimes my clutch isn't fully disengaging. Not all the time, if I come to a stoplight, stop, and shift back to first...I can't shift into first. Pedal to the floor.
If I force it, it grinds but goes in. After forcing it, I can take it back out of 1st to neutral and same thing happens. While in 1st if I rev it there is no chatter or noise. No lurching or grabbing.
Shifts normal otherwise. No noise or chatter while driving. If I'm stopped, clutch out and in gear it's not trying to go anywhere. No hot clutch smell.
But I think it's sometimes grabbing just a little. Which means when I'm stopped but in gear I'm slipping the clutch...barely.
Thoughts on how to assess and tackle the issue? Thanks!

Clutch and transmission fluid levels are good.
Clutch fluid doesn't look like used motor oil. It's yellowish (more like new motor oil), but it looks like there might be some crud at the bottom of the master cylinder reservoir. Hard to tell.
No apparent leaks on master or slave cylinder.
Camera wasn't too keen on focusing on anything...but you can see the fluid color.

Pumping the clutch seems to help. So time for a new master and slave cylinder.
Any preference for Crown vs. Omix Ada? Its a sealed system so shouldn't matter, right?
