clutch adjustment??
I just got my 95 jeep a few days ago , when i come to a stop light sometimes its hard to put into gear. It doesnt do it all the time, but when it does its difficult. On my cobra you can adjust it because it has a cable. My jeep looks like it has a hydraulic , I looked under where the clutch petal is and on the hydraulic cylinder part, there was a little bit of oil on it. I think that part could be possibly have a worn out Seal?? Will a new part fix my problem???
Thanks

replaced it with a new one today. It seams to have helped alot, second gear is still a bit notchy . Although it now shifts into first like butter. good thing for my autozone rewards i saved 20.00 on it at least. maybe its a bad thing it means ive been buying alot of crap.

You'll probably want to replace the slave cylinder while you're at it and change the gear oil to something of decent quality and that won't eat away at the syncros. I don't remember what the forum recommended oil is(also on the OEM list of accepted oils) but I know Royal Purple is some good stuff. A trick for getting it to flow better is to either put it in a warm oven for a few minutes or near/on something warm to thin out the oil

update:
I also replaced the slave cylinder as recommended. Not a hard part to change but that damn o-ring that goes inside the slave kept on leaking, even with a new o-ring. So i put another small one in the inside of the slave (i guess you could call it double rubber) haha and that cured my leak. Now it seams to be better than before , it was getting notchy again after the clutch master i replaced. If this keeps happening i think i might have the syncros replaced .
