Default Clunk in mid to rear end when stopping/accelerating

Just like the subject says, there's a clunk somewhere from the back end of the Jeep whenever I take off from a stop or slowing down to a stop. I read that in some cases it's the slip yoke binding up but I have an SYE installed so it can't be that.

The rear driveshaft is one that I picked up out of a wrecked Jeep just to tie me over since I put the SYE in. Could it be the U-Joints that are bad? I also read that the rear pinion and yoke could be bad. Google wasn't super helpful.

The is still a slip joint in the middle of the shaft and that could be loose. Yes it could be a u joint as well. Get under there and start wiggling to find what's loose.

Well the drive shaft doesn't have any play in it if I try to push up and down on it. There's a little play when trying to rotate it (assuming I'm on a flat surface).

My u joint was fried and it felt great to the touch. Turns out my motor puts out more torque than my wimpy arms. I'd take the driveshaft off and check them visually.

I'll do that tomorrow. I was just going to throw some O'Reilly brand ones on for now since I'm not sure how long I'll be using that driveshaft.

I'm not sure about replacing the ball inside the CV joint though. My front one got toasted but it was really obvious. Should I go ahead and do it on the back too?

Another possibility is the trans mount. I had a similar thump on take offs, trans mount was toast. Put a pry bar around the mount and lift up, mine was actually tore and obvious when lifted with bar.
