CLUNK!
When i shift from park to any gear my drivline seems to give a noticable clunk and jerk, with my foot on the brake when it shifts into gear my pedal goes farther down, im not sure if its supposed to do that or not. It also has a very noticable shifting during regualar driving. Wether this is my transmission or U joints i am unsure, somebody even told me it was my motor mounts.

i would start by haveing the trans serviced, not flushed cause that only gets fluid out u need the filter changed to. try to wiggle the drive line by hand and se if it moves, also not a bad idea to check the trans mount to.

I have the same problem, and I am going to start with the trans. mount. The engine mounts are good but it does have a freakishly high idle in park and neutral. I have started to let off the brake as I shift to not clunk as bad.

Check the fuel lever at the throttle body. Mine was bent so it was always idling high and clunking out of park. I bent it back today and it ran so quiet. I think you can adjust that screw as well. But I would do more research first.

my flutter valve on my throttle body is resting as low as it can go and my control cables are slack so i think its at stock idle or else its that vacum leak thing, i think my old xj just idled abnormaly low which was pretty kewl except in winter trying to warm it up.

Have you checked your motor mounts. My does the same thing and a bad driver side motor mount is the culprit for it.
