I am going to be painting my "tan" interior as well. I figure while I have it out I should paint it. There are multiple shades of tan due to sun fading.

Can you post pics, and any recommendations on how to prep the plastic?

cleaning the plastic alot before is a good idea. If you have used Armor All on them the waxes in it will react with the paint. Making the paint not adhear to the plastic well. I suggest going to you parts store and gettin a wax & grease remover and just cleanin it a few times. Put some on a rag and wipe it off with a clean one. Also purchase a "Scuff Pad" to prep it after cleaning it then of course clean again. And Dupli-color interior paints are excelllent

Be sure to post pics

all i did was clean it really good, wipe it down and then i took some i think 180grit sandpaper and just sanded everything but not to much just enough to give the paint something to stick to. and the duplicolor vinyl paint works awesome and depending on the amount of layers you put on to get the right color, it dries extremely fast. ill try and get some pics up soon
