Check "FAIL" Engine light came on. Trans Malfuction senor?
Well, today leaving school...
i was sitting in traffic waiting to get out of the parking
lott.. and all of the sudden my jeep starts to idle really rough
and then.. she cuts off.
When i put her back into park, and fired her back up she was
running really really ROUGH. & now the check "FAIL" engine
light is on. I went down to advanced auto parts..
ran the code. and it's saying that the senor for the
transmisson has had a malfuction. it's a 40 dollar part..
and looks like a easy fix.
Has this happened to anyone else?
did it fix the problem?

Always post the EXACT code here for the most accurate replies.
Without this code, we can't give very good advice.
With OBD technology, the devil is in the "details".
