Going to work i looked at the amp gauge and it had fell down to near nothing. It finally quit and i called a friend to give me a jump. I went to a auto parts store and there machine said the alternator was good,the battery was good, but it showed a problem with the starter. I had to be jumped five times just trying to get home, sometimes the jump would last only a few miles sometimes up to twenty miles. Any ideals? Thanks in advance Reagan

It sounds like the alternator to me. It isn't charging, so the ignition system pulls the small charge that a jump supplies, then it quits. Any time that has happened to me it has been the alternator, HTH!!
