I've dealt with a couple of insurance buy backs here. A lot of time they tow them straight to the insurance auctions lot. If that's the case they don't charge storage fees.

Still waiting to hear back. I've got the cash and I'm ready to pick it up.

You can't link to your google account. You'll have to upload independently.

Ouch looks worse than I was thinking it would. I guarantee its gonna be a pain to get a new left side fender on and header panel. It would take a lot of bending back that metal. I would either buy it back and use what parts are still good and swap it in another jeep body. Jeeps with blown engines are pretty cheap. Then just swap engine, trans, skid plates, etc. Then either scrap the rest or part it out. Option two is to just use the money to buy another running jeep.

Id buy it back fix it and wheel it ! Couple of the folks posting above are clueless , thats a few nights worth of removal and bolting on new or used parts . Core support , fascia, bumper , misc.

Low range is right you guys give up way to easy. Hell my jeep is a 3rd vehicle it certainly is not my daily anymore , if I wrecked my xj id park it in the rear of my shop and aquire needed parts abd fix it .

Not totally. The front crossmember is caved in. That almost always bends the frame rails in a bit. Might not make un drivable but it still wouldn't be right.

The skid plate is straight looks just like mine ! All the mangled crap can be unbolted, to me it looks like the bumper is pushed back , like the brackets are smashed .
The stock bumper isn't that great ...... just saying I bet its all fixable with minamal effort , maybe a little tug sidways . I ran my 55 chevy into the retaining wall at the drag strip at 115mph (same kind of damage) and put it on a machine and it was not out more than an eighth from one side to the other , damage was frame horn, core support, fender/liner couple of tie rods . What im saying is sometimes it looks way worse than it actually is .

Actually looking again that's the bumper so maybe. I still think if it was mine I'd buy it back but part it out. More money in it. I wouldn't want the salvage title.
