Default C8.25 pinion yolk

Hey guys so I just finished my axle swap from my 3:07 axles to 3:73 and on the rear there was a driveshaft bolt broke off and stuck in the yolk so I swapped yolks off this 92 axle to a 97 except they look different like a dust skirt thing on it? I was wondering if it's safe to run the 97 yolk thanks

As long as the dust shield does not interfere with anything then it should be ok. If it does interfere just knock off the dust shield.

So you swapped the yoke, did you check the bearing pre-load after?
