Default Nissan Navara/Westin Fey Rear Bumper on 95 Xj

Anyone ever tried the 84 dodge Dakota rear bumper or chev silverado siera Rear step bumpers, here is a pic of a 95 Xj with an Australian Nissan Navara Rear or {USA/Westin Fey Diamond step} bumper mounted.
Alot of mucking about with making brackets up though.

A Dakota bumper might work if you make it since it's a mid size vehicle like the xj, the chevy bumper is full size I would be to wide.
On that note if you wanted a rear bumper with a step that would fit a cherokee look at a Comanche pretty sure they have one and it's another jeep so wouldn't be hard to put the two together.

Everything on the rear end of a Comanche is unique. A different model is a different model, regardless of make

Still would be easier than making some other make and model work, but with enough money and know how you can make anything possible.

No, it wouldn't. All the brackets are completely different, just like they are on any other truck

Obviously the brackets wont work, what seems to have been missed is that a mj is close to a xj unlike a Dakota or full size chevy if the OP was looking for options for a step style bumper from something else it won't bolt on and something custom will have to be made.
Only reason I even mentioned a Comanche was it's had a step style bumper on a truck based on a cherokee in which parts do swap between each other but also have their own parts that don't without some work. In my opinion I would rather make a mj bumper fit then trying to make something else work if that's what I wanted.

You don't seem to realize the rear of a Comanche has absolutely nothing in common with an XJ. It's has a rear frame with a removable bed; not unibody rails. The rails aren't even the same distance apart.

Really it has a frame and a bed that comes off. So the you couldn't make mounts to mount the bumper well shucks I guess if it ain't made for it it won't work. Thank you for opening my eyes to your some kind of clown insight of you can't make custom stuff cause if it wasn't made for it it won't work at all.
Thank you much appreciated

Don't be a ****ing dumbass. My point is using an MJ bumper is no easier than any other donor of similar width.

This isn't true:

Anyways...

Yeah... I mean, the bumper LOOKS alright, but it also looks too wide for it. Can't see real great because of the small size of the picture, but the ends of the bumper seem to stick out a little bit. Some may not mind, but that would annoy the hell out of me.

I think you'd probably have better luck (speaking specifically of WIDTH matching) with an MJ bumper or an early model S10 bumper. I think the Dakota would probably still be a little wide for the back of the XJ (similar width to the Nissan you mentioned). The Dakota is a mid-size pickup versus the compact size of the s10 or ranger.

Observe...
