What if you don't have the "screw on cap"? My '89 Renix Cherokee has the old syle, bulbus, rectangular based, metal top that his held in place by the spring metal clip. Do they sell an adapter for this?

Probably. It's the same as Ford.

You got a power bleeder?

All I have ever used is a wooden dowel, or length of pipe. Use small container of brake fluid and some clear vinyl hose. Setup as per typical bleeding at the caliper, sit in drivers seat, pump brakes, apply dowel to hold pressure, Crack bleeder, close, repeat. Start at passenger rear and move along as normal.

I use a stick to wedge between brake pedal & seat. Pump pedal with hand, wedge stick, open bleeder, move to next. Last time I used my 11yr old, he thought it was cool to be able to help.

DON"T reuse what will be in the soda bottle it could be contamimated ! Do it a couple of times on each line make sure to close the bleeder vale and you should be OK.
^ This is how I do it, works great. When doing so it's a good idea to replace all the old fluid with fresh.
