Default Bleeding brakes question

I just replaced both rear wheel cylinders since one was leaking. I'm getting ready to bleed the system, apparently the FSM says to bleed the master cylinder and the combination valve first. Is this necessary? I thought I just needed to bleed each wheel but then I read that.

Just need to bleed at the four wheels starting with the one farthest away from the MC and finishing with the one closest. You only need to bench bleed the MC if you have just replaced it.

Yeah after reading it a little closer I think that's what it says. Thanks.

so do you just take off the wheel cylinders and let the brake fluid drain out, install the new cylinders, and fill the master cylinder back up?

don't let all the fluid drain out. it's still good brake fluid. unbolt the old brake cylinder and quickly put new 1 on to minimize wasted brake fluid. Gotta work fast and b able to handle with oily hands
