I'm looking at a set of these when I do my 3" lift. A little pricey but I think they will be worth it.

I have the rough country hydro's and they squeak really bad everytime I go over a bump. They are only a couple months old. I wouldn't recommend them.

i find rough country to have a horribly rough ride ex gf had a 2001 with 4.5 RC lift and it was super rough all out of the box items and full leaf packs, springs control arms. and it was broken in. i use Rustys and they are really nice and the customer service is really good (i broke my rear shock mount and the shock bent around the axle from hitting rocks and i called them, shipped my old one in and got a new one in return! FO FREE)

dont get the RC nitro 9000. i usually like rough shocks but these feel like a c4 went off when you go over a bump. but i think they corner much better than soft shocks.

thata boy...haha

I have cheap stock shocks on my 2 in lift. with the way me and my friends abuse our jeeps we stopped buying expensive shocks because we break them whether they are "quality" or not, so we just go with cheap. but I guess if you're just using it as a dd without trail abuse then nicer shocks might be better in the long run.
