Default Bad leafspring yes or 👎

Today i hit a pothole and my rear just slam hard. And i notice. My leafspring are flat now my jeep its stock no lift just kj rims and. My shock are new . could i have saggy leafspring

Yeah your leafs are flat so they are pretty much shot time to replace them.

I foud. My towtrailer and uses 87 xj leaf can i use them install a leafspring helper so won't sag


Still has arch in them it was nevee use for heavy loads. Install a helpee to keep the curve

I guess if you're broke. Helped springs don't do a lot.
New stock springs aren't that much.

Hint: start soaking the bolts, nuts, sleeves.

I'm on a tight budget for a while. So budget fix till i get back up

Do you have a spring shop close to you ?Most spring shops can re arch your springs or make you new ones.

Wow, 1988 and I don't see any rust. Those bolts should come out just fine, but soak them with PB blaster anyway.

Re-arching buys you a little bit of time, that's all. For the labor and cost it's not worth it at all.

Buts hes outside the usa and shipping on a set of springs would be sky high.

Good choice. I did exactly that with mine last year. I has gotten me by for about a year now. It's at least as good as a re-arch, and it's easy to do yourself.

I can see that it's not going to keep me going much longer, though, and I have new springs here waiting to be installed.

Its just to gather enough $ to order news ones . cause shipping here its expensive
