Default AW4 Lock up issue

I have read dozens of threads and cannot get this solved. I'll try to make this brief.

I replaced my tranny(from a junk yard) almost a year ago and ever since I've had issues with it regarding lock-up. I've replaced the solenoids, the throttle position sensor and have drained the fluids and a new filter 3 times.

It works fine for the first ten minutes of driving but after that it will not stay in lock-up. The only time it has functioned right is after my last fluid and filter change and I did not get the cooling line seated properly into their ports. It ran great on a 40 mile drive and then I noticed I was spraying fluid, crawled under it and found that the lines weren't fully into their ports. Ever since reattaching them it still will not stay in lock-up.

From my readings I have narrowed it down to only two more options. Replace my tranny cooler or my torque converter is shot.

Looking for advice before I spend any more money or waste any more time.

Thanks in advance!

Cory

Have you adjusted your brake light switch?
The torque converter lockup signal goes through the normally closed contacts of that switch.

Never even heard of it through all I've read. Is there a write up?

No, just a matter of looking at it to see what size wrench you'll need.

Also, do you know which direction it'll need to be adjusted and what I need to look for?
