Default Automatic transmisson and Shift points?

Is there a way to change the shift points of my auto transmission in my 2000 Cherokee sport? I know it shifts at 42 mph I want to change it to shift also at 55 mph to increase fuel mileage.

Not without somehow reprogramming the TCM. Might be easier to just shift it manually? IIRC there are full manual control kits out there.
