I put 30s on my Comanche, but they were fleet truck tires and didn't have large tread blocks

Default OEM shocks on a 2000

Does anyone know if OEM shocks on a 2000 sport were twin tube or mono tube?

I realized I put it into full time 4x4 which disconnects front and rear axles I think. Not sure. I ended up putting my rear wheel in front of my front wheels as an extra chock and throwing it into PT 4WD.

I think it was just the little bit of slack in the driveline showing, but I didn't want to risk it.

Differential finally shimmed.

As for brand, well, there are tons of those. What sort of climate are you in? What is your tolerance for road noise, what do you want to play in? Mud, rocks, and sand are very different.

I am very happy with my Goodyear Duratracs but they are a lot louder than an all-terrain. Particularly at optimal cruising speed. I have a 100 KM round-trip commute so this annoys me.

Lastly some 2001 XJs shipped with 16" rims. May want to check
Thanks for your answer, the Cherokee now have 225/75/15, and on the sticker it's write 215/75/15

Will mostly drive in north or Atlanta and really, no idea where I will play yet (most likely mud)

Loud bang noise shifting from D-->R-->D after shimming my pinion angle? Doesn't do it right out of the gate from P-->D.

Sounds metal on metal.

I tried to replace my cigar lighter outlet once before when I took my dash apart. Couldn't get it separated from the plastic. Is the plastic mount removable from the cigar lighter outlet?

Because you omitted engine and transmission TYPE I'm going to assume you mean the AW4, behind the 4.0L engine. Not the 32RH (automatic behind 2.5L), AX5 (manual behind the 2.5L), or AX-15 or NV-3550 (manuals behind the 4.0L and 2.5L turbo diesel).

Physically, yes the newer AW4 will bolt up, but it won't work with your TCU without some modification to the transmission and wiring. Details are here: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1053970

Mid-1990 right on through 1996 are the same unit, though.

The silver piece unscrews from the outlet itself

Default Horn/alarm trouble..

Ok long day today, locked my keys in my 99 jeep xj 4 dr auto and I fished the power door lock to unlock it, i than went to straighten out the wheel in my jeep from the inside of the car and when I hook the battery back up the horn goes off.. Could this be from unlocking the car the wrong way? Thanks in advance.

Pull the front clip and radiator, and drill it out
