Why was the PCM replaced?

Are there any codes?

I think they used up till late 95 Once the HO's were introduced the TCM became integrated with the ECU. I'll have to check my schematics.

Have an 01 XJ, cracked 0331 head, wiped the whole motor. I have a motor out of a 2000 with approximately 120k on it that I am putting a reman TUPY head on. Question is, should I replace rod bearings in the motor while it is out? I have no indication that it needs them, they just seem fairly cheap and way easier to do with the motor out. Thanks guys.

You just have to do some "nogin pokin" (or as I like to call it "head bangin") sometimes it's under the license plate, but in mid year they moved it to the passenger side view mirror. Some peeps have even reported finding it next to the drivers side front parking lamp.

Ya.. Believe it or not. There are fuses for JUST the reverse lights on vehicles. Also I'd rather check a for a fuse then blow 200 dollars on a part because someone over the internet said that was the problem.
