Ha. I remember when I used to "waterproof" the paper towel rolls at high school, really frustrated some of my teachers when they spilled something and tried to wipe the mess away.... Really funny to watch them constantly trying to wipe it but doesn't get absorbed in the paper towel...

all cherokee hoods are inner changeable if I am not mistaken. Body style didn't change once besides the wing windows grille and two or 4 door options.

97+ has different header panel, fenders, bumper caps, fender flares, front doors, mirrors, roof rack, tail lights, and back hatch.
Forgive me if I missed something.
Question: if I'm running a 245/75/16 could I use a 31x10.50/15 for a spare? Or is it too big of a difference in size?

I found a good 31x10.5R15 tire for like $30 and put it on a Jeep rim I got for free.

The front bumper is actually different too. New shape. There's also the air dam, door trim, and little differences in roof rack.
http://tire-size-conversion.com/metric-tire-conversion/ says 30.5" nominal. Closer match than the factory setup! Would probably if you're locked though.

On the tire size I knew it was 30.5 that tire conversion calculator is my fave because the metric tire sizes make my head hurt.
That's sweet though I have a whole set of 31x10.50s on stock steels from my parts jeep, at least one should be good for a spare. I didn't want to take my vacation without a spare even though I'm getting new tires. I'm on open diffs too so no issues there.

Audio gurus I need your help! so for a while now every time I would hit a bump in the jeep my radio would turn off and turn back on. the other day the same thing happened except the radio didnt turn back on this time. I know it was getting power because I could eject a disk and insert a disk but I couldnt get anything else to work. I ran the radio straight to the battery and it worked fine. It turns out the accessory wire(the one that comes from the harness in the jeep) is not working so now my radio does not save presets or anything. has anyone had this problem and get it fixed? or does anyone know where the accessory wire runs to on the jeep?
