Default any trick to removing front rotors?

Should i just be smacking these with a hammer until either they or I have had enough. I don't see any screw or bolt that holds them on. I have given them quite a few smacks already and not the slightest budge.

thanks

chris

HAHA. My 1st thought... HHmmmm a big hammer. lol. A more delicate way would be to pray some PB on there and use a rubber mallet( if your saving them) and gently tap it all the way around and they should pop loose. If you saving them be nice to them as not to ding or warp them... If not well just beat the crap out of them till they come off. lol

if theyre that hard to get off, theyre trash and you need to get new ones.

so essentially, beat them off anyway possible.

Big hammer and NO girly swings. Word of advice...after removing rotor make sure all rust is off of the hub and apply an anti-seize compound so the next time...tah-dah, no problem

don't forget to take a wire wheel to the face to remove the rust so the disc will sit flat and true when you put it back on

just posted trick i just figured out to free mine after 3 dang days of pb and bigger hammers ! so try this it worked for me sorry no picks just straighten wheels and i cut a 2x4 7 and 3/4 inches long to wedge between frame rite below shock mount and to the rotor .then start her up and use power steering to pop it rite off ! kind of tough to do myself an extra hand would have been nice but got it ! just glad nobody around to see me celebrate with a fist pump to the sky ! if this works for you please let me know if can thanks
