Tie rod and pitman arm. The V8 ZJ tie rod is a solid unit and is much stronger than the stock XJ tube type. The pitman arm is a 1 inch drop over a stock XJ and will help correct steering angles when lifted.

the front coilsprings from the zj will give your xj about 2" lift.

You can swap in the seats (I do not recall if poser options pose issues) but the rear seat takes some persuading and some leg room gets lost. Search the forum for it.

what parts can you keep? it really depends on how creative you are and your level ov fabricaion skill/tools. it also depends on your plan. do you want your XJ to climb Mt. Everest or the curbs at the mall. If i had a spare ZJ lying around i would probably rape and pillage it till i cant find useful things anymore (im talking about keeping sheet metal because i "might" need it one day to fill in rust or make the inside of half doors, and i dont want to buy sheet BC im a cheap bastard). after that i would sell off/ part out the damn thing and only give the junkyard a skeleton covered in moss. but thats me thinking in an ideal world. my driveways full and have no area around me to store a rape victim.

depending on the rear ends in your rigs you could use the zj rear to upgrade your xj to rear disc.

Yes the hitch will fit but the holes do not line up to well so you will have to drill new holes. I know. I had a zj hitch on my xj because i got it for free

NO the ZJ has coils in the rear. It will be a direct swap after you cut off the coil mounts and weld on leaf spring mounts.
