Air only blows through defrost

Air only blows through defrost
I have a 97 xj 4.0 and the air only blows through the defrost vents no matter what setting the blower is on. The vacuum lines are good from what I know because I in hooked it from the ball under the front bumper and it sucks air through that. So any help would be very much appreciated

your lines may be good,mine were. My problem was the vacuum ball was cracked. Hooked up my mityvac to it to pressurize and held it under water and it was leaking along the seam. New to me ball and all good!

Definitely vacuum leak. First place I'd look is right around the fire wall lines.
Fixed my mustang and ram both were in the area on le left side
