Default 98 XJ no power to fuel pump

Hey guys so I finally figured out my no crank issue, the wire for pin 87 in the PDC for the starter got pushed down and wasn't making connection.

So now it cranks, actually it fires with I give it a little starter fluid, but I have no fuel pressure. So I started checking power, I am getting 5 volts at pin 30 and 87 in the PDC for the fuel pump but no where else. so then I moved to the connector going into the fuel pump and none of the 4 pins get power. now I am stumped. I need to get this bad boy running.

Have you tried jumping the relay socket to force the pump on? If you need some diagrams I put a bunch of service manuals on www.cruiser54.com

I have not tried that and I couldn't find the manuals you mentioned, mines a 1998 also I might have forgotten to mention that. Also I am get nothing power wise from my ASD. Now my gauges are doing the we don't want to work deal, but I tested resistance across pin b and c on my CPS and it's indefinite like bleeping jeep says it should be in his video also it'll run off of a squirt of starter fluid.

Okay so after looking again(must have missed it last night in the dark but fuse 11(fuel pump) in the kick panel was bad. So I replaced it, but now I'm getting the NO BUS on my dash and the gauges don't move when I try to crank the engine. It does crank though. I tested the resistance across pin b and c on the CPS and they tested good like bleepin jeeps video said they should. Any ideas?

Is anything else not working ? Is there 12 volts at all fuses in pdc and interior fuse panel with key in run position.

Well I had it firing off of starter fluid but now after replacing fuel pump fuse in kick panel I get no but and now no start off of fluid I am testing the rest of the relays and fuses now

A bad ignition switch will cause low voltage at fuses where I heading. Sometime eliminating what its not narrows the search down.

So I checked the fuses under the hood go figure I had blown the 15amp fuel pump one. Swapped it and it fired right up. Now I went and tested power at my fuel pump and I'm only getting one pin with power and only getting 5v

Do you have more pins pushed down in the PDC? you should have 12v not 5v at the relay. Should be same as starter relay. 87 or 30 should have power all the time, from fuse 21. 85 or 86 should have power in run or start from fuse 11. Is your battery fully charged or do you have a bad connection? 5v is not enough. ASD relay should have power from fuse 18 all the time. pin 87 or 30. Either 85 or 86 should have power in run or start from fuse 11 also. Should have 12 v at dark green and white atfuel pump and good ground on the black wire. Good luck. Do you only have 5v at relay still? If so thats all you will have at pump.

You say the ASD is supposed to be getting power from 18? 18 in the PDC is unused and in the kick panel is for power locks and windows
Going to check voltage as we speak

Okay update so I have 12v at pin 30 and 85 but when I test the voltage at fuel pump connector I get 0v to the green/white stripe wire. But I'm getting 4.5-5v to the blue/green stripe wire

The blue green is for the low fuel light. Could be a 5v signal. It's 98 right? My wiring diagram shows fuse 18 in PDC should be hot at all times to the ASD relay witch feeds fuses 20 and 23 in the PDC when the relay is activated. Dark green and white at fuel pump is the power wire to feed the pump.

Yes it is a 98 maybe I'm looking at a different diagram, what size fuse does it say?
