98 cheerio doorpanel switch
My door panel switch in my 98 xj is working intermittently.
I can use it to open all doors and works with the windows ok. Its been intermitten on the other doors working. I can nudge the drivers side front window switch and the other doors and window stuff will work now and again.
I took the switch out but how do I get it apart to clean.
I can buy a new part or one from the truck yard but i woulw like to fix it and know how to do it myself.
Anyone ?

Got it fixed !
My dad and I yanked the door panel off and tried to take the switch apart. Looks like I had to been a Jeep employee who put them together to figure out how to get it apart so I eye balled the wiring harness and noticed the factory clip had a lot of play in it. the wiring going into the clip slid up and down for a double no no. tried to get the wiring from sliding, impossible so my dad looked underneath the switch and lightly pushed the prongs from being dead center. Did not have to bend them very much at all. The harness popped in with a little force and now its all snug and tight and fully working with no passenger switch lites blinking on and off now.
I am sorry that I didnt take any pictures as we had it bolted back in before i thought of it.
Hope this helps you all a little if yours is doing the same.
