96 xj guage cluster dead.
Electrical gurus, need a little help. have a 96 sport guage cluster went dead, looking through the manual it shows that fuse #19 is the cluster. Checked the fuse and its good then checked and have no power to the fuse. Checked all the fuses including under hood, all good. everything else electrical works fine. any ideas? Thanks!

If it's totally dead it's not a fuse. Fuse #19 is for the cluster lights. Could be the connector in the back may need to be cleaned or a bad ground also in the wiring. Unhook that harness and look over the wires.

removed the fuse panel from under the dash, found some badly corroded wires including a broken one (cluster power) repaired and replaced a few wires and filled in the hole where water was leaking in.
