96 cherokee sport electrical problem
Ok I have a 96 cherokee sport 4.0 auto. 4x4 I've been having altenator problems, and ignition problems. Been pulling codes and nothing I've done has helped. Nedless. To say I've spent 600 on new parts. It all started with a random multi cyl misfire. I think I have that problem fixed but now I have went through 2 altenators in a month. Have I gotten to crappy parts or could I have some kind of short or other electrical issue

The ingnition shorted out. I bought the jeep at an auction it wasn't wrecked it was vandalized. Whoever tried to steal it damaged the circuit board in the ignition inside the steering column, it has 2 pins burnt on it. Probably my problem all along. Everythings doing good on it now. I gave 200 dollars. For this thing at an auction so I have about 800 in it now and it runs like a champ
