How to remove exterior door handle?
1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport
The rear, driver side exterior door handle is broken, and I have a replacement. I took off the door panel to install the new handle. There are two studs on the back of the handle that go through holes in the door, and there are nuts on them inside the door. One of the nuts is not hard to access. But, the nut closest to the door latch seems impossible to access. How do I get to it? Do I try to stick a ratchet back in there? Or, is there some trick to doing this? Thanks.
