Default '94 RHD Cherokee Fuse Box Problem

Hey guys,

My radio and my cigarette lighter stopped working in my 1994 Cherokee right hand drive. Since the ciggie lighter and the radio are in the same circuit I assume that the fuse is blown. I went to the check which fuse is the one for the radio/ciggie lighter circuit but my fuse box doesn't match the fuse box in the 94 Cherokee FSM. I attached a picture of my fusebox. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for that fusebox or am I looking at the wrong fusebox, if so could anyone tell me where the correct fusebox in the 94 right hand drive Cherokee is located ?

Best regards

Cigar lighters tend to be on the 15amp fuse. On the LHD model 10/11 where the radio and lighter respectively. Which I only see one there in position 10. Try that one first.

Nah I have a regular Cherokee but I'm located in Australia hence I got a right hand drive. I just checked no. 10 of the fuses and it seemed alright, might just have to buy some fuses tomorrow and try.

According to my FSM #13 is 20 Amps and is for the power door locks. But I think that I have a completely different fusebox than that pictured in the FSM.

However thank you DJ for pointing me towards #13. It is actually the fuse that is blown, so #13 seems to be the one responsible for radio+ ciggie lighter. As you can see in the picture its a 10 amp fuse. Is the 10 amp fuse the correct fuse for #13 or should it normally be 15?

Best regards

According to the wiring diagram the radio would be on #10 but it seems that my radio is on #13 so I don't think that's the right diagram. Or could the radio have stopped working because another fuse was blown?

Do you want the link to the on line site that I got the information from.
It is in PDF form and is a pain to work with but it is all on wiring.
